Pizza Fries

If you are thinking of making easy and time saving pizza recipe for you or your kids then you should try this one.. Can be your evening snack or kids lunch box item, you can add mushrooms, chicken or any other thing you want along with fries, otherwise simple fries pizza is also tasty. One more thing no measurement required in this recipe…amazing….isn’t it..???

  • For fries
  • 2 medium sized potatoes
  • oil for frying
  • for topping
  • 10 mini pepperoni
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 C. finely chopped red onion
  • 2 C. shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1/4 C. Cheddar Cheese

1. Peel skin off potatoes. Slice into fries, about 1/4 inch thick. Use a paper towel and dry potatoes as much as possible. Pour oil into frying pan, about 2 inches in height. Drop in potatoes. Turn on stove to medium high heat. When oil heats up the potatoes will begin to bubble. Continue to let the potatoes fry and bubble until they turn brown and crispy on all sides. You may need to use a spatula to separate potatoes so they don’t stick together. Remove potatoes when done, soaking excess grease on paper towels.
2. Add half the cheese, sprinkling over plate of fries. Scoop pizza sauce on top of cheese. Add remaining cheese and top with pepperoni. Heat in oven at 350F for 5-8 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
